Quiet light,
held still.

I photograph landscapes and the people who live inside them, in the hour before a place wakes up.

Series

Longer stories, returned to over seasons. Each one is a small printed book and an exhibition set.

About

I don't chase the light. I wait for it, and for the people who already live there.

For ten years I have worked alongside fishermen, guides and families, staying long enough that the camera stops being a stranger. The result is quiet work: honest about the place, patient with its people.

I shoot on medium format and digital, and deliver graded files and archival prints.
