Short answer: A GEO service works on your website, business data and content so that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews understand your business correctly and recommend it when customers ask. Daaistudio runs GEO together with SEO in a monthly plan at 7,000 baht (first month 4,000 baht), and we have real cases where ChatGPT and Perplexity picked our client's restaurant as their first choice.
More customers now ask an AI instead of opening website after website, so the question has changed from "which page are we on" to "does AI mention us, and does it get us right". We checked Google Keyword Planner (Thailand, all languages, checked 8 October 2026): the Thai search "รับทำ geo" (GEO services) sits in the 10 to 100 searches a month range and only started appearing this year, while "geo คือ" (what is GEO) sits at 100 to 1,000 a month. This article covers what a GEO service should include, our real results, and what we have learned from client work.
What GEO is, and how it differs from SEO
SEO gets your website listed in Google's results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) gets the AI that writes an answer to choose your business name for that answer. Both stand on the same base: pages Google can index, business details that match everywhere, and content that answers real customer questions. In its document AI features and your website, Google says the usual SEO best practices still apply to its AI features and no extra special technique is needed. So we do not sell GEO apart from SEO; we do both together. For the bigger picture of SEO, AEO, AIO and GEO, read SEO, AEO, AIO and GEO explained.
Real result: a French restaurant AI picks first
Brasserie 9 is a traditional French restaurant on Sathorn Soi 6 in Bangkok, and we run its SEO and GEO every month. The goal is for Google and AI to understand it as accessible, classic French with a standout Sunday Brunch. When we test with the questions customers really type, this is what we see.

ChatGPT picks Brasserie 9 first for a French Sunday brunch question in Bangkok (screenshot from the client report, September 2026).

Perplexity names Brasserie 9 first, with the day, time, packages and location taken from the site and listings we keep accurate (screenshot from the client report, October 2026).
Another restaurant we look after is Al Saray, an Arabic restaurant in Bangkok that has been cited by all four AIs: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Both restaurants chose a 6-month renewal after their first 3-month contract. We never publish a client's internal numbers; what we show is the answers anyone can find on AI themselves.
What our GEO service includes
| Work | Why it matters | How we do it |
|---|---|---|
| Audit and fix on-site facts | AI repeats what your website says. If the site is wrong, the answer is wrong | Go through every page in month one and correct days, times, prices and service names |
| Matching business details everywhere | AI reads your site, Google Business Profile and review or booking sites | Same name, address, phone and hours everywhere; weekly Google Business Profile updates |
| Answer-first content | AI can easily lift a paragraph that answers the question directly | The first paragraph of each page answers the main question in 2 to 3 sentences, then the detail follows |
| Schema (structured data) | Tells AI and Google who the business is, what it does and where | Organization or LocalBusiness, Person for key people, FAQ and Event where they fit |
| Full indexing | Pages Google has not indexed are often invisible to AI too | Fix the sitemap and request indexing of new pages in Search Console |
| Monthly testing | Measure with real questions, not searches for your own name | Ask all four AIs the questions customers really type and keep screenshots as evidence in the report |
Advice from our own client work
- Fix wrong facts on your site before anything else: we once saw AI say a client's brunch ran on Saturdays and Sundays when it is Sundays only. The cause was old text still sitting on the website. The AI was not guessing; it read our own page. So every job starts with correcting facts across the whole site.
- Review and booking sites feed AI too: in AI answers we often see review sites, booking sites and Google Maps cited. Your details there need to be as accurate as on your main site.
- Only write what can be proven: a claim nobody can verify may be repeated by AI in a way the business itself cannot stand behind. We write history and strengths only from facts the client confirms.
- Measure with customer questions, not your brand name: AI knowing your name when asked is not enough. New customers come from questions like "where is a good French brunch", asked by people who do not know you yet.
- GEO does not replace SEO: new pages Google has not indexed rarely show up in AI answers. We have fixed a client's sitemap first so new articles got indexed, and only then measured GEO.
Why clients stay with us
We hold a 5.0 rating on both Google and Fastwork, with 18 jobs on Fastwork and 8 clients who hired us again. One client wrote that we are "extremely professional, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond". Both restaurant clients, Al Saray and Brasserie 9, renewed for 6 months after their first 3. Every month clients get a report built on real data from Search Console and Google Business Profile, with screenshots of AI answers and the plan for next month. You work directly with the founder, and the studio team builds under the founder's direction.

GEO service pricing
The website care plus SEO GEO plan is 7,000 baht a month, with the first month at 4,000 baht. It starts with a 3-month contract, because SEO and GEO take time to show results, and then runs month to month with no yearly lock-in. It includes site care, monthly SEO articles, keyword tracking, Google Business Profile and review care, content and schema work for AI citation, and a monthly GEO report. Details are on the monthly plans.
Checklist before hiring for GEO
- Ask to see real AI answers from their work that you can search again yourself
- Ask which questions they measure with, and on how many AIs
- Search Console, Google Business Profile and Analytics should stay in your business's name
- Every number in a report should name its source
- Be careful with anyone who guarantees AI will recommend you; no one controls AI answers
No one can guarantee Google rankings or AI answers. We show only results that really happened and can be measured.
