The short answer — getting a website built in Thailand comes down to three options (a large agency, a studio, or a budget freelancer). Prices are lower than in many countries because living costs are lower and work can be done online. Choose a company by whether you can talk directly in one language, whether it's custom or a template, whether SEO/GEO is built in from day one, whether multilingual is done correctly, and whether you can update it yourself. We're a studio working in Thai, English and Japanese at native level, building SEO/GEO in from day one — studio price, agency-level results, with work that ranks on Google's first page and is cited by AI.
For Thai businesses, foreign businesses in Thailand, or Japanese companies building a site here, the first question is usually "where do I hire, how much, and how do I choose well?" This guide covers your options for hiring, real price ranges, how to choose a company, and how to do multilingual and SEO/GEO correctly — from the perspective of people who do the work.
Three ways to get a website built in Thailand
Broadly there are three, chosen by business size, budget and the quality you need.
| Type | Typical price | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Large agency | 100,000 THB+ | Big companies, large projects | Expensive, often overkill for SMEs |
| Studio | From 15,900 THB | SMEs, sole traders, multilingual sites | Each studio has different strengths |
| Budget / freelance | 5,000–20,000s THB | Minimal sites | Often weak on SEO, multilingual and support |
For a small or mid-sized business, a studio is usually the most balanced choice between price and quality.
Real price ranges — why it's cheaper than many countries
Labour and living costs in Thailand are lower than in many countries, and working online keeps costs down. As a guide: a fully custom one-page site starts around 15,900 THB, and a multilingual site with split URLs and hreflang starts around 42,900 THB. Budget services start in the low 20,000s THB but are usually template-based and weaker on SEO and multilingual. See the pricing page for a breakdown of each plan.
How to choose a company (checklist)
- Can you talk directly in one language? — going through a translator adds gaps and delays
- Custom or template? — brand credibility comes from bespoke design
- Is SEO/GEO built in from the start? — structuring from day one beats bolting it on later
- Can they do multilingual correctly? — split URLs per language and set hreflang
- Can you update it yourself, with ongoing support? — designed so you don't pay for every edit
- Track record and reviews — check third-party ratings like Google or Fastwork

Building a multilingual site correctly (don't use a translate button)
Many sites in Thailand need 2–3 languages (Thai/English/Japanese). A common mistake is just adding an automatic translate button — the URL stays the same, so Google doesn't treat it as a separate-language page and it won't rank in that language. The correct way is to split the URL per language, set hreflang, and rewrite for each language's readers. Read more on the multilingual sites page.
Why SEO and GEO (AI search) matter now
Search is expanding into Google's AI Overview and AI tools like ChatGPT. Increasingly, whether AI names your business when someone asks about your field will shape how you get found. We build the SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) structure in from day one — and a Japanese client actually found us through an "AI recommendation." Businesses that structure early tend to win.
