Social posts are ordered by what the platform thinks will hold attention, not by whose name is on them. Someone about to hire you who searches your name usually does not find your work first — they find whatever the platform decided to surface.
The other shift is recent: people increasingly ask an assistant instead of searching. When someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini which wedding photographers work in Bangkok, those systems read open web pages far more reliably than apps that need a login. Work that lives only inside an app is less likely to be picked up.
