Kigumi is a concept design we made for interior and joinery businesses. The owner is a fictional studio that designs Japanese homes in timber, shoji and tatami.
It is one page with six parts: entrance, living room, rooms, featured project, how we work and a call to plan your home. Visitors walk through the house room by room while wooden doors slide open as they scroll. Clients who like this direction start from it, and we design it further with their own brand, photos, words and projects.
The first screen is a pair of wooden doors. Scrolling slides them apart to show the room and the headline, so visitors know at once that this business works in wood and homes.
Each part of the site is a room in the house: living room, tatami room, corridor. Services are told through real spaces instead of a list.
One house laid out as a spread, the main photo inside a window frame and the other rooms around it, like a Japanese home magazine.
The doors close behind the visitor, and a nameplate explains how to send a floor plan and photos of the space.
The photos are good, but visitors cannot feel the materials, the light or the craft, which is what these clients decide on.
The whole page is built from the materials of the house: hinoki wood, washi paper and tatami from real photo textures. One light source drives the page, every shadow moves with it, and on desktop the light follows the pointer.

A dark wood ground and warm light like a Japanese house, with one accent colour: the tone of hinoki wood.
Shippori Mincho for headings and Zen Kaku Gothic New for text, with small kanji that name each room.
Wooden doors, shoji and fusuma slide open with the scroll using GSAP. Visitors who reduce motion see a still page with every part in place.
A one-page website is 15,900 THB and a 5-page company website is 28,900 THB. The yearly system fee of 3,500 THB is billed separately.
This is a starting direction, not a template: your site is designed new around your brand.
